How I'm Navigating This New Normal
I hope this email finds you healthy and safe at home as we all face unprecedented change in our lives. Feelings of all kinds are flowing in and out, and every day is different. Sometimes we feel anxious, uncomfortable, uncertain, scared, depressed, and sometimes hopeful, grateful, calm, and rested. Every single feeling is most certainly valid and human.
One thing is for sure: we’ve been given the gift of time, and I believe we are all doing the best we can to make the most of this time. Although that looks different for everyone, as we all deal with this major shift in different ways. However I also believe this is an opportunity to slow down, and embrace your life for all that it holds dear. There has never been a better time to go within, align with your inner self, assess where you are on your path, and connect with feelings of love and gratitude.
We must do the work - for ourselves and each other. And more than ever, we need to find new ways to connect with each other – from within our homes and from within hearts – so as to spread love and gratitude.
I read an affirmation the other day that I have found to be quite a powerful addition to my morning ritual. I offer it now.
“In the midst of chaos, I choose joy, I choose peace, I choose compassion, I choose gratitude, and I choose love."
